Your Responsibilities and the Law

 If a person develops a chronic health condition or becomes ‘disabled’ while in your employ, there are many legal issues which could come up. Employers also have a particular set of responsibilities when dealing with these members of staff. This section tells you about these issues, and how to manage them. As well as signposting to the organisations and resources to enable employers to carry out responsibilities and work within the law.
